Hitman Will be Launching With Full DirectX 12 Support

We have a breaking news for the PC gamers waiting for Hitman. The game will be launching with full DirectX 12 support. The news was confirmed by PC Gamer who were at the game’s presentation. This means people who are running Windows 10 and DirectX 12 capable graphic cards will have better performance and much better visual fidelity.

Below is the list of benefits gamers can expect when using DirectX 12 supporting hardware.

  • Better multithreading
  • Increased performance where CPU bound
  • Better experiences for laptop gamers
  • Asynchronous compute on AMD cards for significant performance gains
  • Early days but we will continue expanding and improving on the Dx12 experience in future releases.

We already know that Square Enix is planning on bringing DirectX 12 to Just Cause 3 and Rise of The Tomb Raider as well. This probably means that there future titles like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will also have support for DirectX 12.
