Turn Off Heads Up Notifications in Android 6.0 Marshmallow

  1. On your Android device, go to Settings and then Apps.
  2. Once you’re there, simply tap on an app whose notifications you want stopped and scroll down to the notifications tab.
  3. Tap it open and look for an option that says “Allow peeking”. If you are using a Samsung Galaxy smartphones then you need to look for an option that says “Preview in pop-ups”.
