Yes, you heard it. The PC version of Street Fighter V will have the ability to be modded. The game is officially releasing in February, later this year. However, the modding community is already working on creating rather fun mods of the game.
For those who don’t know, Street Fighter V had several beta tests and thanks to these beta versions, modders have been able to introduce an array of different mods into the game. There happens to be an entire channel on YouTube that goes by the name Street Fighter V Mods, the channel offers mods from both the original creators and all the others who are in the modding community. Check out one of the videos in which the modders decided it would be fun to combine Ryu and Zangief together.
Ridiculous, right? The fun doesn’t stop, there is another video in which the modders have changed the hair colour and the colour of Ken’s default attire to match something that looks like Dante from Capcom’s Devil May Cry. Check that out below.
Considering how there is still time for game’s official release, it will be an interesting thing to see whether or not the final version of the game gets modded. Whatever the case is, we’d be more than interesting in seeing some more ridiculous mods.
Street Fighter V lands on PC and PS4 on Feb 16, later this month. Stay tuned for more updates.
