LG G4 owners who are willing to unlock the bootloader of their device can have a little more of a proper guidance now. For those who don’t know, LG currently only supports the Open EU variant of LG G4 to have an unlocked bootloader, this leaves a lot of users in confusion and despair as to whether their phone can have an unlocked bootloader or not. Considering Europe is a huge region, and most of the people are buying phones off of Amazon, it is a bit tedious to find out whether or not you can unlock the bootloader. Lucky for us, a user over at XDA compiled a list of all the variants of LG G4 that can have their bootloader unlocked.
To check whether or not you can have the bootloader of your phone unlocked, you will need to do a thing or two, you are going to have to check the region of your phone that is in shape of a 3 alphabet code and can be seen on the box, we have put up an image just for the sake of reference. If the reference code matches the list of variants, you can unlock your bootloader.
