When it comes to having mods, Fallout 4 has some pretty weird and ridiculous ones, so much that if we are to compare all the Witcher 3 mods we have covered in the past with the Fallout 4 mods we have been reporting since the launch, the Fallout 4 mods would be deemed immature, ridiculous and hilarious.
We are taking a break from posting about the ridiculous character creations in Fallout 4, that being said, our focus is shifting towards mods now and the mod we have for you today is an utter disaster; no, there aren’t any performance issues. The mod we are talking about is called Immersive Facial Animation mod and it overalls the facial animations of all the characters around you. Check it out in the works below.
Yes… pretty scary, no? If you are willing to install this nightmare of a mod, you can do so by following the instructions.
Install Fallout 4 Immersive Facial Animation Mod
- Download the file from here.
- Extract the file and copy the ‘Meshes’ folder into Fallout 4\Data.
- Now open Fallout4.ini that is located in My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\
- Now find and replace ‘sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\’ with ‘sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, INTERFACE\, LODSETTINGS\, MATERIALS\, MESHES\, MISC\, MUSIC\, PROGRAMS\, TEXTURES\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\, SOUND\, VIS\‘
- Save and exit.
If all of this is too complicated, you can use Fallout 4 mod manager, we already reported about it in one of our previous posts.
