It’s that time of the year again, Apple just announced the upcoming iPad Pro as well as the new iPad Mini 4; for those wondering — the iPad Pro isn’t a follow up the iPad Air 2; it is a larger version and according to Apple, aims to focus more on the productivity rather than entertainment. So without wasting any more time, let’s take a look at the iPad Pro and the iPad Mini.

iPad Pro

iPad Pro comes with an impressive level of specifications, the iPad Pro has a 12.9 Retina display with a total of 5.6 million pixels. Apple didn’t give the exact resolution though, iPad Pro will be using Apple’s latest A9X, this is Apple’s third generation x64 bit processor. According to Apple, this SoC is 1.8 times faster than the A8X chipset and it will deliver desktop level performance. Apple didn’t tell the exact battery capacity, but according to the company, iPad Pro will be able to run 10 hours. iPad Pro will also comes with 4 speakers and will have 3 times the powerful audio as compared to the iPad Air 2. It also comes with an 8 megapixel rear camera.

However, the most interesting fact about iPad Pro is the Apple Pencil (yes, something we’ve all been waiting for… NOT). The Apple Pencil is a battery powered stylus, the stylus will come with a lightning connector on the back for charging, the pencil comes with a sensitivity sensor, the lighter you press, the lighter the strokes will be. Apple will also launch a smart keyboard that will connect with iPad Pro using 3 connectors.

iPad Pro will cost $799 for the 32GB variant with WiFi, $949 for the 128GB variant and $1,079 for the 128GB model with both WiFi and cellular connectivity. The Apple Pencil will cost you $99, and the smart keyboard will cost you $169. 

iPad Mini 4

Apple also announced iPad Mini , according to Apple, this is the smaller version of iPad Air 2. Sadly, that’s all Apple managed to tell us, however, the device will go on sale in November for $399, do keep in mind that this is the price of introductory model.
