It’s that time of the year again, Sony just unveiled the much awaited Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact officially. The phones were supposed to be announced at IFA that starts 2 days from now, but seems like Sony was in a bit of a hurry and unveiled Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact. Both the phones carry the same specs, however, there will be difference in the screen sizes and resolution. For instance, the Xperia Z5 will be having a 5.2 inch of FHD screen and the Z5 Compact will be having a 4.6 inch of screen with HD resolution.
Both the phones will come with Snapdragon 810, however, the Z5 Compact will have 2 gigs of RAM, the RAM on the ordinary Z5 will be 3 gigs, both phones will ship with 32 gigs of internal storage that will be expandable. Sony did some upgrading in the screen material, the company will be using some kind of chemical tempered glass on the screens. Both these phones will equipped with 23 megapixel sensors, this time, the sensors are custom made and are exclusive to Sony, the camera will feature f/2.0 lens.
Both these phones will have fingerprint sensor built right into the power button, the design elements are a bit different, giving the phones the same premium look we have seen over the years. The phones will be booting on Android 5.1.1 and will be launching in October in several colour options including Coral and Yellow.
