It’s been 2 months since the Xperia Z4/Z3+ hit the shelves and Sony is already prepping for the Xperia Z5, well at least the leaks suggest that The leak is coming from a rather reliable source and the images we have look original to some extent. According to our source, the Xperia Z5 will be coming with a 23 megapixel sensor, provided that happens, it’ll be the first phone since Xperia Z1 to have an upgraded camera sensor with more pixels.
The phone will be unveiled at IFA, in September and will go on sale later this year. From the looks of it, the phone does maintain the same design language used in Xperia devices, however, this time, the Xperia logo is neatly sitting on one of the edges. Take a look at the photo below.
The colours we’re hearing about are white, gold and dark turquoise; rumours also suggest that there will be a bigger version of the Xperia Z5 dubbed as Xperia Z5+, but we don’t have any details on that. What we do know is that the Xperia Z5 will be coming with a fingerprint sensor.
IFA is kicking off in few days and we’ll be bringing you complete coverage. Stay tuned.
