Sony won’t be revealing their upcoming mid-rangers Xperia M5 and Xperia C5 Ultra until next week, however, we have enough details about the phones to know what will be coming our way, the leaks are coming from a very good source and show us both the phones in full glory. So without further ado, let us take a look at both the smartphones, but before we discuss the details, let’s checkout how they look.

On the left we have the Xperia M5 and the Xperia C5 Ultra is looking really impressive on the right, let’s dig a bit deep into the specs of both these devices.

Sony Xperia M5

Sony’s Xperia M5 is the more powerful device in the punch, the phone comes with a 5 inch FHD IPS screen, 3 gigs of RAM, 16 gigs of internal storage that will be expandable via micro SD card and an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor. The phone shares a similar design language to what we have seen on Xperia Z3 and Z3+.

The Xperia M5 will also have 13 megapixel of rear camera and will come with IP65/IP68, as far as the pricing is concerned, it is said to retail at $400 and will be available in different colour options such as; black, silver and gold.

Sony Xperia C5 Ultra

The M5 is definitely the powerful from the bunch but for those who care more about the aesthetics, we have the Xperia C5 Ultra, the phone offers a big, 6 inch display with FHD resolution but that’s not the interesting bit, the interesting part about the device is how the screen is almost bezel free, this is the first time we are seeing a device from Sony with such pleasing aesthetics. According to our source, the bezels on both sides only measure .88mm in length, this is a really impressive design language.

Speaking of specs, you don’t get all the impressive things found in the M5 but the C5 Ultra isn’t a bad device at all, it comes with 2 gigs of RAM, 16 gigs of on-board storage, a 13 megapixel rear and front camera with flash on both rear and front and an octa-core 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6752 processor. The phone boots Android 5.x Lollipop and is powered by a 2930 mAh battery. The pricing is unknown but the phone might cost somewhere around $350.

Although details aren’t confirmed, we’ll be seeing both of these phones in coming days. Stay tuned for more information.
