Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 is the upcoming big thing, the phablet will be announced sometime in August followed by the all out release. So far the only looks about the Galaxy Note 5 have been based on the leaked renders. However, this time around we have leaked pictures of the upcoming phablet that shows it in full glory.
The leak is here by the courtesy of nowhereelse.fr, a renowned French website providing leaks for quite some time; the pictures show the phablet clad in a Nillkin case and by the looks of it, pretty much every aspect of the Galaxy Note 5 has been shown in these pictures.
The picture shows that the phablet looks a bit similar to the Galaxy S6 or should we say that it’s just an enlarged S6 with beefed up specs. Obviously, at this point we don’t have the complete list of specs but it’s confirmed that the Galaxy Note 5 will come with 4 gigs of RAM.
The Galaxy Note 5 will be featuring a similar design language to Galaxy S6, the front and back will be made out of glass and sides will be made out of metal. Seems like Samsung will be getting rid of the removable battery as well as the SD card. For those who are wondering why more companies are opting towards not adding SD cards, it’s pretty self-explanatory; having an SD card in your phone reduces the performance by a stretch because the phone is forced to read and write from two different locations simultaneously.
Samsung will be revealing the Galaxy Note 5 somewhere in August at the Unpacked Event. Stay tuned for more information.
