Sony released the much awaited Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for the Xperia Z3 series a few days ago, and now its time for the Xperia Z2 to get the update as the Japanese tech giant is now seeding the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop that carries the build number 23.4.A.0.546. However, there is a slight catch, the update is currently only seeding to Vodafone but considering how it’s released, the unbranded versions should be out by evening or in the next couple of hours.

The update should be available to all the Vodafone users, however, if you are impatient, you can download the FTF using XperiFirm or Flashtool. Do keep in mind that the update is currently out for D6503 variant only that supports LTE and is being sold in the international market. We will be updating you with guides on how to update your Xperia Z2 in a while.
