Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A8 has been around for quite some times but mostly in rumours and speculations, however, we now have some concrete proof about the existence of the phone and what’s to come in this phone. Samsung didn’t announce the phone as of yet, however, thanks to a leak from nowhereelse.fr, we know that Samsung is planning on revealing the phone on 17th July, later this month and it will cost $485.
According to the leaks, the phone will be coming with a 5.7 inch screen with FHD SAMOLED screen, it’ll be powered by a 64 bit octa-core and 2 gigs of RAM. The Galaxy A8 will also come with a micro SD card slot and 16 gigs of internal storage.
The most interesting fact about the Galaxy A8 is the incredibly thin design, the Galaxy A8 measures at just 5.94 mm thick, this is thinner than both iPhone 6 and Galaxy S6, keeping the incredibly thin design aside, the Galaxy A8 will have a 16 megapixel ISOCELL camera with 16 megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.9 that will have HDR capabilities. The Galaxy A8 is also going to have a fingerprint sensor that will work exactly like the Galaxy S6 (tap to unlock)
The phone will be available in white, black and gold. We are not sure if Samsung is planning on releasing it in the international market but considering the specs, it could do well in the international market. Not to forget it is the thinnest smartphone created by Samsung.
