WBGames finally listened to the problems of the gamers who are continuously reporting the issues on the Batman Arkham Knight on PC. Apart from poor performance on both AMD and Nvidia GPUs. Apart from the stuttering issues, the game is also limited to 30 frames per second. This limit is really infuriating for a lot of PC users who prefer to play games on 60 frames per second. WBGames released an official statement on the community forum that they are aware of the issue and are currently fixing it but in the mean time they also need support from the gamers who are addressing these issues.
WBGames also mentioned the minimum and recommend settings of the game for smooth experience. If your PC matches the minimum hardware specs then you need to change the game settings to these:

Minimum Hardware Specs
(or equivalent)
Resolution: 1280×720
V-Sync: Off
Anti-Aliasing: Off
Texture Resolution: Low
Shadow Quality: Low
Level of Detail: Low
Interactive Smoke/Fog: Off
Interactive Paper Debris: Off
Enhanced Rain: Off
Enhanced Light Shafts: Off

And if your PC matches the recommended specs then these are the settings for you.

Recommended Hardware Specs
(or equivalent)
Resolution: 1920×1080
V-Sync: On
Anti-Aliasing: On
Texture Resolution: Normal
Shadow Quality: Normal
Level of Detail: Normal
Interactive Smoke/Fog: Off
Interactive Paper Debris: Off
Enhanced Rain: Off
Enhanced Light Shafts: Off

Let us know how’s the game performance after changing the game’s settings.

  1. Ahahaha, “put everything to low and go ***k yourselves” basically?

WB are scum, getting IronGalaxy to do the port, AND WITH JUST 12 PEOPLE!?

I can blame Rocksteady for the “mash X” dull gameplay, but the performance on PC and lack of settings is COMPLETELY unacceptable.

The highest the textures go on PC right now is “normal”. NORMAL!? No wonder the PS4 version looks better.

The game is locked to 30 FPS but at least that can be changed in the ini file, but even then, it won’t go past 60 FPS.

    GTX 970, i7 3770k @4.5ghz, 16GB RAM, SSD, Windows 8.1, latest Nvidia Batman driver;

Change the FPS to 120.000000 in the ini, MotionBlurSkinning=0, AllowRadialBlur=False, MobilePostProcessBlurAmount=0.0, ***THEN SET THE INI TO READ ONLY***, and my stuttering and low FPS lock is gone.

Flying around is fine. Batmobile causes some drops to 40-45FPS but only for like half a second.

For me, the game is now completely playable, staying most of the time at 60 FPS @ 1080p.

Weird how everyone else is having slideshow performance on better rigs.

  2. “Resolution: 1920×1080V-Sync: On

    Enhanced Light Shafts: Off”

So why don’t I just buy a PS4 version instead? Why bother releasing the PC version at all in the first place?

Does anyone in WB actually walk around the office with a brain or are they attached to their butthole?
