How many of you were aware of the fact that Microsoft pulled off the life support from the Internet Explorer? Well this happened when the company announced Windows 10. We were also told that the new browser will come with ‘Project Spartan’ as a proxy. But no official name was given so far. However, we now know that the upcoming Windows 10 will have a browser called Microsoft Edge.
This was just announced by Microsoft at their developer conference that Edge will be coming bundled with Windows 10 as the primary/default browser. Microsoft didn’t give us much details about Edge but there are some early information that we can share with our readers.
- It has built in Cortana support
- It has built-in reader, note-taking, and sharing features
- The design focuses on simplicity and minimalism
- The rendering engine is called EdgeHTML
