Samsung released the Galaxy A series a couple of months ago and it’s been gaining quite some popularity. The phones came with all metal bodies and had decent specs. Currently we have 3 phones in the family, the mid-rangers Galaxy A3 and A5 and a mid/high end Galaxy A7. The entire lineup was launched with Android 4.4.4 Kitkat and has been waiting for Samsung to update it to the latest Android 5.x Lollipop.

Good news for all the Galaxy A series users, report from SamMobile suggests that Samsung is currently working on Android 5.0 Lollipop on all 3 devices of the series. Though we don’t have an exact date, it won’t be too long considering how the company was quick on the Galaxy S5’s time. Apart from the good news, the report also suggests that Samsung isn’t currently developing Android 5.1 Lollipop on any of the phones; this is understandable as the version was released only a few weeks ago.

Whatever the details are, will keep you posted.
