Sony just announced the new device for Japanese market called the PlayStation Vita TV, usually based on the hardware of PlayStation Vita. The vita TV is a small device that plugs into your TV just like HDMI and lets you play games and multimedia content. The PlayStation Vita TV is usually the same hardware as in Vita that enables you to play PS Vita games, PSP games and PSOne titles from the PlayStation Store as well.


techjeep-sony The device comes with the traditional game console and also a media consumption device. It also supports many Japanese TV like Tsutaya TV, Sky Perfect TV, TV Dogatch, U-Next, and Hulu.

Another main feature of Vita TV is the support for PS 4 remote, Just like PS Vita it also make you able to use PS 4 remote by connecting over the internet just like you would on the PS4. It also includes of many other interesting feature like web browser, email client and a Party app for video and text chat. There is also a music streaming application, e-book reader, Twitter client and a streaming karaoke service.


PS Vita TV users also able to play games against PS Vita users by an Ad Hoc connection. PlayStation Vita TV supports  two DualShock 3 controllers and will come with an 8GB memory card, addition to this it also have 1GB of internal memory.

PS VITA TV go on sale in Japan on November 14, 2013 for 14,994 Yen. International availability is yet to be announced.
