Finally Android fans can rejoice as Facebook messenger for Android is finally getting a free voice calling service. Back in March the service was launched for Canadian users and now it’s available for U.S users too. Voice calling works exactly the same way as in iOS.  To make free calls press the “I” button on the top right and tap “free call”. The best thing is you don’t need to update the application in order to use this feature and if you are using Chat Heads to message friends then you will need to tap the “three more info dots” next to a person’s name to move the conversation to the Messenger app before you can make a call. android-facebook-calling-1024x853

Facebook says, 24 countries now have access to this feature. Let’s see when it will come to Asian countries.
